Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

NeurAbilities Healthcare’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

As a leading provider of neurological and behavioral services in communities throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, NeurAbilities Healthcare’s Mission is to transform the lives of our patients through precision medicine, behavior sciences, and therapeutic treatments with compassion, dignity, and respect. It is through this mission and our shared core values of compassion, collaboration, integrity, excellence and joy that NeurAbilities commits to creating a fully inclusive environment for our patients and staff. We respect, recognize and celebrate the differences that make each and every individual unique and human and strive to create an inclusive culture where we can celebrate diversity. As such, NeurAbilities is committed to creating a culturally diverse, inclusive and collaborative community for patients and their families, employees and associates where each person is celebrated and has a sense of equal belonging.

Such differences include, but are not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, language, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, abilities/disabilities, socioeconomic status and geographical region.

Our goals related to embracing diversity and equity:

  1. Increased Access to Services – for underserved populations by contracting and servicing diverse populations in an urban environment.
  2. Diversity Across the Organization – we will actively encourage diversity in hiring practices and patient intake practices to assure representation of historically underserved and underrepresented populations.
  3. Supporting Leadership & Staff with Ongoing Education – we will provide support and ongoing education regarding diversity and inclusion among all employees.
  4. Promoting Positive Dialogue – we embrace diverse experiences and backgrounds and strive to continually create an organization where each person feels welcomed and valued. We will promote dialogue for all employees at NeurAbilities through both structured sessions as well as company culture of welcoming feedback. We recognize that we all have a long way to go, however, we commit to being better each day.
  5. Investing in Our Communities – we provide value and support in the communities in which we provide services through holding a consistently high standard of care for patients and families and providing the services in the community where patients live.
