Description:
When our children are born, we look forward to the day when we first hear them say “mama” or “dada”, they wave bye-bye and take their first steps. These are developmental milestones and are indications of a child’s developmental progress throughout their childhood. Some children, however, may not meet typical developmental milestones at specified times due to a variety of reasons and will be recommended to be evaluated by a developmental pediatrician or neurologist. In this talk, learn from the Head of Neurology and Developmental Pediatrics at NeurAbilities Healthcare about when an evaluation may be needed and how a specialist may guide treatment. This talk is designed for parents of young children, although professionals are welcome.
