Tammy Rockhill, DNP, APRN, CPNP, PMHS-BC
“Working with children with developmental needs is extremely rewarding. I love having the opportunity to see both the patients and their families thrive and grow throughout the years.”
Tammy earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rutgers University, where she conducted research on pediatric anxiety, depression, and epigenetics. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Widener University. In addition to her clinical expertise, Tammy is certified in pediatric mental health and has extensive experience using screening tools such as the STAT, CARS, Vanderbilts, and ASQ for early diagnosis and intervention.
With a career spanning nearly three decades in pediatric healthcare, Tammy has worked in primary care, emergency, and inpatient settings. Before joining NeurAbilities, she served as a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care and early developmental intervention. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Rowan University, where she educates future healthcare professionals in pediatric emergency and mental health care.
Tammy was first drawn to NeurAbilities because of its collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care.
“NeurAbilities offers a unique, collaborative working environment with nurse practitioners, physicians in several subspecialties, and neuropsychologists, which extends each of us a wealth of information that we may not have within our own scope of practice.”
When Tammy isn’t transforming lives at NeurAbilities, she enjoys traveling, reading, and practicing yoga.
