NeurAbilities

Victoria Perko, BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst providing staff supervision and ABA therapy to children at NeurAbilities Healthcare’s new Autism Treatment Center in King of Prussia, PA.

Ms. Perko pursued a career in behavior sciences because she enjoys learning about what inspires children. “It is my passion to work with young children because they remind us of the importance of having fun and playing! I learn so much. The ‘work’ I do makes me feel passionate, successful and fulfilled.”

As a graduate of St. Joseph’s University’s Bachelor and Master in Science Programs, Ms. Perko has experience both providing direct care to children with autism and participating in research projects, including a study of Smith-Magenis Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, as well as studies of gender-based rule adherence in adolescents.

“I knew from my first experience working in an autism classroom that my calling was working with children with special needs.” Since then Ms. Perko has worked in both classroom and residential settings. “My absolute favorite part of my job is working and playing with individuals who love attention. We reinforce one another!”

When asked what question she receives most as a behavior analyst, Ms. Perko responds, “Are you analyzing my behavior right now?” Her response: “I can only analyze behavior effectively after conducting a full detailed assessment!”

Fun fact about Tori: she was an extra in the movie Creed 2!
