Two New Autism Treatment Centers Opening In New Jersey

NeurAbilities Healthcare is planning to open two new autism treatment centers in New Jersey. A center in Freehold is slated to open on November 15, 2020, and another in Cherry Hill is slated to open on December 15, 2020. With these new centers, NeurAbilities will operate seven treatment centers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The treatment centers are designed for children with autism and other neurological and behavioral concerns, primarily from ages 14 months to 15 years, but also older, if appropriate. Each offers:

  • Special lighting, temperature controls, and other features that address sensory sensitivities.
  • An indoor playground to help children learn a wide range of skills, including communication and socialization.
  • Individual and group treatment rooms with special design themes.

NeurAbilities operates autism diagnostic and treatment centers, including three diagnostic centers, two in New Jersey, Voorhees and Wall Township; and one in Pennsylvania in King of Prussia. The diagnostic centers focus on medical and neuropsychological evaluations and treatment planning. It operates three treatment centers, with one in Freehold, New Jersey, and two in Pennsylvania in King of Prussia and Bala Cynwyd. The Cherry Hill, New Jersey, treatment center will open soon. Additionally, NeurAbilities intends to open a diagnostic and treatment center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
