Michael Baniewicz, PsyD, ABPdN

Senior Director of PA Neuropsychological Services | Neuropsychologist

Michael Baniewicz, PsyD, ABPdN is a board-certified pediatric neuropsychologist who specializes in the evaluation of children, adolescents, and young adults from infancy through college. His practice focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning differences, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, giftedness, and complex medical or genetic conditions. Practicing from a person-affirming framework, Dr. Baniewicz takes care to honor the unique strengths, experiences, and identities of every individual he meets. He operates on the core belief that children act in the best way they know how, and that behavioral challenges simply reflect skills that are still actively developing. By partnering with families to uncover the “why” behind learning and behavioral patterns, he empowers parents with the clarity and confidence they need to advocate for their child.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Baniewicz brings a strong background in cross-disciplinary collaboration. His experience working alongside schools and medical providers allows him to seamlessly bridge the gap between clinical diagnoses and educational teams, ensuring that children receive cohesive, comprehensive support at home, in the classroom, and across the community.

Dr. Baniewicz earned his degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his specialized internship and postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology within a neurologic medical home setting. There, he worked within a multidisciplinary medical team to provide integrated, high-level care to youth with complex neurological and developmental profiles. When he is not practicing, Dr. Baniewicz enjoys life as a husband and parent, exploring the community with his family, playing a wide range of games, and trying to tire out his energetic goldendoodle.
